FREE (or Almost free) at CVS
CVS offers extra care rewards as a way of "rewarding" their customers. You must have one of their extra care cards. The cashier will give it to you. Use it everytime you shop at CVS to get valuable coupons. In the post below you will see reference to ECBs. It stands for Extra Care Bucks. They print on the bottom of your receipt, along with your coupons, and work just like a CVS gift card. You can use it to buy anything in the store (except prescriptions). I use mine to buy more ECB items so that I never have to use cash. I just rotate my ECBs for more ECBs.

Walgreens rewards their customers through 2 different programs. They offer RegisterRewards (RR) which prints with your receipt and can be used toward future purchases, and they offer a Single Check Rebate (SCR) method. Remember that you can only submit one rebate form each month so wait until the last week of the month to make sure you can take advantage of all of the sales. Keep all of your receipts!! The SCR can be filed online and Walgreens is fairly quick to process the rebate. Here are the deals that are FREE or almost FREE.

Walgreens - Paying Me to Shop
I know I have said that Walgreens was not my favorite place to shop, but today I decided to try it again. It took a deal to good to pass up. Check out the orajel deal below. SCR is a single check rebate that Walgreens offers each month. These deals are for January. They can be submitted online. Be sure to pick up the rebate book at the front of the store.

Getting Started
I thought it would be fun to see how much stuff we can get for free or at least almost free. It seems like the deals are endless, with a little effort. I have found several mail-in rebates, coupons for sale items and, of course, our amazing CVS deals. Once I started searching them out, it became fun to see what else I can get.
Jeff will often ask me, "what are we going to do with all of that?". I always say if we don't need it, I'm sure someone else does. But now, I'm accumulating so much stuff that I thought it would be fun to try to tell other people of the deals I find so they can benefit. Not to mention, I'm hoping that when ya'll see deals you just can't pass up, you will share them as well.
